(Based on a True Story)

“Alive Day” is currently optioned by Phoenix Pictures to become a blockbuster movie. Watch for the rest of the series as it becomes available!

Based on a true story.

On August 6, 2003, Task Force Arc Angel is 30 minutes from extraction after 26 months on a covert operation deep in denied territory. The highly classified organization known as “the Activity,” answerable only to the Secretary of Defense and the President of the United States, is mistaken for an Iraqi unit, and attacked by friendly forces.

Of the seven members of the team, only one, Chief Warrant Officer Samuel Hill, made it out alive.

During the subsequent investigation, Chief, now paralyzed and homeless, is charged with six counts of premeditated homicide.

This is Chief’s story.

Reviews

This new book series, soon to be a movie, is a fabulous page turner. I am a fan for life and cannot wait to read future books by Samuel Hill. Five Stars Plus.

I loved this book. I don’t know if anyone has ever seen the commercial for the world’s most interesting man, but I think we might have actually found him! Chiefs story is so good and so gut wrenching, I actually lost sleep reading this book. I couldn’t put it down! Every American should read this book. We need to know what our soldiers go through when they come home, as well as when they re over seas fighting for our freedom.

You have to have the “need to know”. In the intelligence field, it is ingrained in you. If someone doesn’t have the need to know you would never, ever, tell them anything, ever. What I am telling you, because you have a need to know, is read Chief’s book, Six Days to Zeus: Alive Day. Americans enjoy a freedom that, for most people, is taken for granted. They don’t know about the dangerous missions that take place in places they wouldn’t be willing to go. Chief and his team didn’t think twice about deadlifting that weight. The respect and love I have for these guys cannot be measured. My initial motivation for reading Chief’s book was because I was stationed at the same place Chief was, at one point, Field Station Berlin. I knew what it was like to be in the intelligence field but I did not know, unlike Chief, what it was like to knowingly put myself in harm’s way every minute of every day. Chief tells a story that needs to be put in the heads of Americans. “Silent Warriors” are the reason you don’t have to worry about the bad guys. The book has you shaking your head in disbelief, someone would go through that for America, for me? It is hard to digest what Chief experienced, from losing his entire team to losing his health and family; after all his dedication and then he experiences that??!! But, in true form, Chief writes his story to give the reader some life strategies. He wants the reader to know that you will get through whatever life throws at you, just get through the next “five meters”, keep going, don’t give up, you will get through the storm. Thank you Chief for writing your story. I will be forever grateful for your narrative. It makes me proud to be an American and so proud of all of our “silent warriors” like you. Read this book people, you have a need to know!
